Jun 28,  · Barely to be referred to as a drum and bass release, Exorcise the Demons is something beyound ordinary jungle. Call it dark jungle industrial DnB or anything you want, but it is a must-have for those, who like complicated and long-rolling loops, industrial soundscape, psychedelic atmosphere and long stumbling tracks. Sophisticated. Dark. Different/5().

Mar 09,  · Exorcise the Demons is an awesome CD. I recently started exploring this genre of music, and I am quite impressed with the tracks on this CD. I had originally bought it for the first track (Call and Response) because it was on the movie "Blade". But I had also sampled a few of the other tracks on the CD, and I liked what I had heard/5(10).

Mar 15,  · An almost uncompromisingly dark album, Source Direct's 'Exorcise the Demons' provokes a similar reaction to Photek's 'Modus Operandi' opus, a long-player with which it shares a number of relevant affinities/5(8).
  9. The long-awaited Source Direct recording arguably betters labelmate Photek at crafting that rare thing: a listenable album of unfiltered drum'n'bass. While Photek 's Modus Operandi was unapologetically and unrelentingly dark, Exorcise the Demons has a few notable detours into acid effects and even what sounds like occasional disco samples.9/
